When do I feed Sand Remedy?
• In cases of frequent or suspected sand ingestion, administer the product in a two-week course.
• Must not be given in case of suspected ileus (intestinal obstruction).
Note: Ensure your horse always has access to fresh water.
Horse/pony: Mix 50-100 grams per day into the dry feed.
Psyllium seed, bentonite, grass pellets, sodium bicarbonate, fenugreek, ginger powder, wood cellulose, sunflower oil, and mint.
Psyllium seed: also known as fleawort, or in Latin, Plantago Ovata. Psyllium fibers can absorb up to twenty times their weight in water, softening and bulking the intestinal content, improving intestinal passage, and aiding in the removal of sand.
Bentonite (clay): forms a gel film, binds toxins (does not bind vitamins and trace elements).
Grass pellets: binder.
Fenugreek: stimulates appetite, supports proper digestion in the intestines, relaxes, protects the stomach lining, maintains a
healthy blood sugar level, and is good for cholesterol levels*.
